Help Us Empower Dominican Communities to Dream Again
Spiritual Needs
Our goal is to meet the spiritual needs of the people in the Dominican Republic first and foremost.
The Gospel is central to everything Re-Vision and its partners do and is lived out through Gospel presentation, Bible study, prayer, and discipleship.
Physical Needs
With the support of our U.S. church partners, Re-Vision helps provide food, clean drinking water, clothes, hygiene supplies, and other physical needs in times of emergency. Re-Vision also partners with Compassion International in several communities to help ensure children receive the care needed.
Educational Needs
Re-Vision works to help provide educational opportunities in all of our communities. In addition to building schools, vocational schools, and Compassion centers, Re-Vision also regularly provides equipping experiences and educational resources through short-term missions teams.
Medical Needs
Throughout the year, Re-Vision provides medical and dental care to the most needy in our partner communities. That care comes both through short-term medical and dental teams and in cooperation with other ministry partners — Corazon del Siervo (a Dominican medical ministry) and with local dentists with whom we’ve developed partnerships.
We are on mission to help people in need.

Medical/Dental Clinics
Revision hosts 2-day clinics in the church communities for children that are a part of the child development center.
Health physicals, medical treatment, and dental care are provided and administered by health professionals and volunteers. During the clinic, volunteers are involved in waiting room ministry which includes arts/crafts and activities with the children, prayer, health seminars, and evangelism.
This clinic offers important health care to communities that need it.
Construction to Expand Mira Cielo Church & Child Development Program
Revision and Love Serves have partnered with the church in Mira Cielo to provide labor and funds to build and expand a space for ministry.
The church is two stories currently. Compassion International sponsors the child development program that the church runs on the second floor. There are 3 classrooms, offices, and a kitchen for the 322 children that the church serves from surrounding communities.
The goal is to expand the church by adding a third floor to provide more room for the education of children 3-14 years old in these communities.
Refugio Church/School Construction Project
Construction of the church, the 4th Refugio, and ministry began in 2012, in 2017 Revision started serving the community by helping them construct the church. In 2018, construction on the classrooms in the basement began due to inadequate conditions.
The church saw a need in the community for education. They began providing pre-school to children in the community by setting up classrooms in the existing basement. As the school expanded, the need for more space was evident.
Parcels of land were bought behind the church for the addition of classrooms and a cafeteria space. The next phase of construction includes connecting the roof of the classrooms to the floor of the church to facilitate the addition of a second floor and create a space for an office, bathrooms, and Sunday school classrooms.
Be The Hands And Feet
Go
Romans 10 provides a pattern for taking the Gospel to the nations — to the Dominican Republic. Teams are sent to preach; the lost hear, believe and are saved. Re-Vision facilitates the “going” of those who respond to the Great Commission.
Make Disciples
Re-Vision teams, partners, and staff members work with local churches by providing Bibles, discipleship resources, and discipleship training through kids’ clubs, youth ministry activities, men’s and women’s ministries, and leadership development.
Baptize
At the center of everything Re-Vision and its partners do in the Dominican Republic is the Gospel. All ministry activities have as their aim the demonstration of the love of Christ that allows the Good News to be preached and received.
We need volunteers to Go, Make Disciples, and Baptize.
“19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
— Matthew 28:19-20 NIV
